Welcome to TapTazk! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the TapTazk mobile application and website (the "Platform") operated by TapTazk Inc. ("TapTazk," "we," "our," or "us"). By accessing or using TapTazk, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
TapTazk connects customers seeking services with independent service providers. TapTazk itself does not provide any of the services listed on the Platform.
- Eligibility: You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or use the Platform.
- Account Responsibility: You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and all activity that occurs under your account.
- Independent Contractors: Providers on TapTazk are not employees or agents of TapTazk.
- Verification: Providers may be required to submit identification, licenses, or certifications for account verification.
- Stripe Connect: To receive payments, Providers must connect a valid Stripe account and accept the Stripe Connected Account Agreement.
- Payment Release: Funds are held by Stripe and released upon job completion confirmation or automatically after a designated time period without dispute.
- Disputes: TapTazk does not mediate or resolve disputes between customers and providers.
- TapTazk does not provide or mandate insurance for services performed through the Platform.
- TapTazk is not liable for damages, injuries, or losses related to services exchanged through the Platform.
- Customers are responsible for checking provider credentials and insurance if applicable.
- Fees: TapTazk may charge service, processing, or platform fees. These will be disclosed before checkout.
- Refunds: All sales are final. Refund requests must be directed to the provider unless otherwise stated by TapTazk.
Users agree not to:
- Engage in harassment, fraud, or illegal activity
- Provide false or misleading information
- Violate applicable local, state, or federal laws
We may suspend or terminate your account at our sole discretion for violating these Terms or misusing the Platform.
- The Platform is provided "as is" without warranties.
- We do not guarantee the quality, safety, legality, or completion of any services listed.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are significant, we will notify you through the app or by email.
